Are you a provider looking to establish your own practice with a collaborative group? North Shore Psychotherapy Associates (NSPA) is welcoming licensed mental health providers (professional counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, behavioral therapists) and prescribers to join our team of qualified professionals. We are particularly interested in providers who bring diverse experiences to our team.

Training Opportunities

NSPA serves as a practicum placement for post-masters providers who are looking to earn hours and experience with psychological assessment under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. NSPA has also served as a post-doctoral placement for individuals seeking hours for licensure as psychologists.

NORTH SHORE PSYCHOTHERAPY ASSOCIATES IS EXPANDING ITS IMPACT ON OUR COMMUNITY — AND WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU.


We are actively seeking full-time licensed and provisionally licensed clinicians to join our team. Qualified candidates hold one of the following licenses: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, PMHNP, MD or Provisional equivalent, and carry a caseload of 20 client sessions per week.


Who We Are
North Shore Psychotherapy Associates is a full-service, multi-specialty practice located in Milwaukee, bordering Glendale. Our clinicians are skilled, grounded therapy and medication management professionals who take both their work and their colleagues seriously. We are united by a genuine commitment to quality care, meaningful collaboration, and a practice culture where clinicians and clients alike can do their best work. Our services span psychotherapy, prescriber and medication management, neuropsychological evaluations, educational testing, and forensics services. We work with adults, adolescents, and couples, and we welcome new members of our group from a broad range of clinical backgrounds and experiences.

What You'll Do

  • ​Provide individualized outpatient psychotherapy, medication management, assessment, evalutation, and forensics consultation

  • See clients in person at our East Side office

  • Keep timely, accurate electronic health records

  • Conduct intake consultations with prospective clients

  • Handle client inquiries with professionalism and responsiveness

  • Work toward a caseload of 20–25 billable sessions per week, with full-time clinicians expected to reach 20 billable sessions within the first six months

  • Clinical autonomy alongside access to supervision and peer consultation — with structured supervision available for provisionally licensed clinicians pursuing full licensure

  • Monthly consultation meetings and colleague check-ins with clinical director. Our clinical director is a Psychiatrist with decades of private practice experience in medication management, therapy and supervision.

  • Community involvement, and team gatherings

  • Insurance and self-pay accepted. We have also been selected for exclusive county contracts, providing clinicians with expanded options for their priviate practice interests. The goal is straightforward billing with self-pay and copay payment at time of service
